Moisturiser Plus is one of our go-to creams when skin needs more than everyday hydration. It has been specifically formulated for dry and very dry skin, particularly when the skin feels tight, rough, flaky, uncomfortable or simply isn't holding onto moisture as well as it should.
What we really like about this moisturiser is that it tackles dryness from two directions — giving the skin water AND replenishing the lipids it needs to keep that water where it belongs.
What makes Moisturiser Plus different?
At the heart of the formula are the skin-compatible lipids we love about dermaviduals, including phosphatidylcholine, Ceramide NP and squalane.
These help replenish components of the skin's natural barrier rather than simply leaving a layer of cream sitting on the surface.
But Moisturiser Plus has a couple of extra ingredients that make it particularly useful for very dry skin.
Urea is part of the skin's own Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) and is brilliant at helping the outer layers of the skin bind and retain water. It also helps soften skin that has become rough, flaky or scaly.
Evening Primrose Oil is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, including linoleic acid and GLA. These fatty acids are particularly valuable when the skin is lipid deficient and needs additional support to rebuild a healthier, more resilient barrier.
The formula also contains shea butter, squalane and ceramides, giving very dry skin the extra nourishment it is often crying out for.

How to Use
Apply a small amount to clean skin morning and/or evening and gently massage until absorbed.
It can be used on the face or body and is particularly lovely on stubborn areas of dryness.
If you're using one of our bespoke dermaviduals serums, apply your serum first and follow with Moisturiser Plus to help seal in hydration and provide additional lipid support.
A little note: because the formula contains urea, it can occasionally tingle or sting on skin that is cracked or very compromised. Avoid applying directly onto broken skin.
